Go Bernadette!

This is the latest news story about Bernadette Scarduzio, an amazing woman who also has CMT, like me.  4 years ago, she opened her life up to a film-maker and spent the next 3 years having her life filmed for a documentary about CMT.  The film is finally finished (yay!!) and is about to be submitted to film festivals all across the country.  I secretly really hope that it comes to would be such an awesome opportunity to see the film and to meet Bernadette here in my home state!

Here are some other links so you can read more about this amazing film:

Yay, a movie for us! I can't wait to see it! My fingers are crossed that it gets into Sundance. How long of a drive is it from California? :)

Doesn't even matter, I want to be there! :)

Lenka, I would LOVE for you to come out and see it with me if it comes here! Google maps says it's about 10 1/2 hours to drive from there to here.....I'd totally put you up and show you around! It would be so much fun!!

Melissa, how did you hear about this film? I sincerely hope that it makes it out into the open ... my husband and I have always entertained the idea of scripting a film about life with CMT, purely for the sake of information and inspiration.
I have CMT as well, and am delighted to have found your blog. Thank you for your willingness to share your stories!
